Hi,

I have recently started to work with Tough2/ECO2N/ Toughreact. I have provided all the required input file, but I have a problem or it is better to say an error when I run the program. My problem is a 2D box (12 by 1 by 10 cells respectively in x,y and z) in which I inject co2 in one side and there is no flow condition for other boundaries which is set by default as far as I know.

In the following, I copied a piece of the error message while running.

Hope you can help me out.

I am having almost the same exact error - I am injecting CO2 into a grid of 1x1x1 cubes covered on top by a layer of rock that has low permeability and I get those same error messages "EOS Cannot Find Parameters at Element ____" and the program reduces the time step to almost nothing. I have found the only way to get mine to work is the drop the injection rate below 10^-8 kg/s. I'm not sure how to resolve this issue - I've tried a variety of different enthalpies using methods described here and my own calculations. Any help would be appreciated.

You may need to add pore compressibility to your model (or pore expansivity). If you are using PetraSim and would like to send me your SIM file, I would be happy to take a look (Alison @rockware.com).

Thanks,

Alison
