bridgesmj Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Hi All, I am getting I/O Error 123 after trying to compile a log. I exported 'All open logs' into a single Excel sheet, and saved this. To test the file, I then reimported the 'all logs' file and it generated several log files as expected. I then try to compile one of these logs and I/O Error 123 is received. I am sure this is a problem to do with exporting/importing all logs and as I have no problems when dealing with these files individually. Has anyone had this error before - please let me know what the solution to fix this is! Thanks in advance.
Alison Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 This is a windows error that has to do with the syntax of the file name. I saw this same error recently when a file had been saved with two period characters in the file name (the file extension was ..dat instead of .dat). Would it be possible for you to save one of the problematic DAT files and send it to support@rockware.com? We'll take a look to see if we can pinpoint what is going wrong. Best Regards, Alison Alcott RockWare, Inc.
