Can PETRASIM present a single 2D fault model?

Can PETRASIM_TMVOC present a single 2D fault model looked like Figure 3.2.1 (p42 of LBNL-56175) ?

After a quick look at this paper, it looks like this is 2D model, where the user has forced the connections between certain model cells to be equal to a 3rd permeability.

PetraSim automatically assumes that Perm 1 is in the X direction, 2 is in the Y direction, and 3 is in the Z direction, so you could not create a model like this using the GUI. You could create an initial 2D model using PetraSim, and then manually edit the connections portion of the TOUGH2 DAT file before running the model.
