Can anyone tell me how to do batch geochemical modelling of water-rock interaction using a 1 M (mol/kg H2O) solution of sodium chloride to get the initial water concentrations need in the reactive transport simulation by TOUGHREACT? Thanks!

I do not quite understand what the CGUESS and CTOT mean when setting initial water component in TOUGHREACT.In user's manual,CTOT:total dissolved component concentration. CGUESS:initial guess for the concentration of the primary species,but I do understand the difference between them. Can anyone tell me what they stand for and their difference?

I have tried many many times, cause i do not understand what CTOT and CGUESS means in water(initial)zone setting,i have not ever successed. In the TOUGHREACT user's manual,it says prior to simulating reactive transport, batch geochemical modelling of water-rock interaction must be performed to get the initial water concentrations need in the reactive transport simulation.But why must we do that? Can't we directly use water concentrations materials that have studied by many researchers? If we must do so,how to do that using a 1 M (mol/kg H2O) solution of sodium chloride by TOUGHREACT? hello everyone: i am using TOUGHREACT code to simulate CO2 injection in a sand-shale system. Aftering setting the paraments required, i made a 90kg/s injection in the central cell, then run the simulation, it always halt prematurely. I do not know the question in it. I doubt if it is the boundary question, but i do not know how to set the boundary conditions.Can anyone tell me how to define boundary conditions in TOUGHREACT?
