(027) 12/26/24/JPR - New Feature:

RockWorks can create a map featuring rose diagrams that depict wind directions at one or more data collection sites. Select the Wind Roses program from the Utilities / Maps pull down menu. The radii of the petals are proportional to the relative percentages, while the color of the petal bands represent the wind speed.

(026) 12/26/24/JCJ - Bug Fix:

ModOps / Solid / Statistics / Extract Values From Solid is now passing the correct Datasheet.

(025) 12/26/24/JCJ - Improvement:

RockWorks no longer attempts to use the Window Media Player.

(024) 12/18/24/JPR - Improvement:

The Borehole Manager / Fractures / Stereonet and Stereonet Map programs now provide a means to adjust the great circle color and thickness.

RockWorks stereonet map fracture borehole

(023) 12/18/24/JPR - Improvement:

Improved the Search Function for Projected Coordinate Reference Systems. The search function will search the database that is part of the PROJ generic coordinate transformation software included with RockWorks. The original "Init" search function is still available from the Build/Edit a Projection dialog under the View menu.

(022) 12/17/24/JCJ - Improvement:

The Row-Based (formerly called Multi-Table) Import to the Borehole Manager for both Excel and Text imports can be added to a Playlist and edited from a Playlist. When the dialog is called from the Borehole Manager there is now a button "Save to Playlist" which will add the import to a Playlist. For this to work one needs to save the settings to a Template file.

(021) 12/07/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

The Borehole Operations / I-Data / Section / Hole-to-Hole Interpolation and Projected Section programs no longer skip boreholes with just one I-Data value. This makes the program more useful for scenarios in which a single sample represents the geochemistry within a screened interval.

(020) 11/22/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

The raster exports (e.g., BMP, JPG, PNG , & PDF) within the RockPlot3D / File / Export menu no longer swap the reds and blues when configured to use the hardware (graphics card) OpenGL driver.

RockWorks graphic raster 3D

(019) 11/20/24/JPR - New Feature:

A new program titled "Solid Evaluation" has been added for quantifying the "goodness-of-fit" for an interpolated solid model. The new program generates a report with diagrams that depict the accuracy of a solid (block) model relative to the original control points that were used to interpolate the voxel values.

(018) 11/13/24/JPR - New Feature:

A new program titled "Grid Evaluation" has been added for quantifying the "goodness-of-fit" for an interpolated grid model. It generates a report with diagrams that depict the accuracy of a grid model relative to the original control points used to interpolate the grid values.

(017) 11/08/24/JCJ - Improvement:

When you rename a file in the Project Manager, it will be sorted alphabetically within the list of files, rather than appearing at the bottom of the list for its file type.

(016) 11/08/24/JPR - New Feature:

An option titled “>2 Grids” has been added to the 40 RockWorks programs that create profiles, sections, and projected sections. This new feature can be used to overlay an infinite number of labeled and/or symbolled profiles based on grid models listed within the datasheet.

(015) 11/08/24/JPR - Improvement:

Symbols within labeled polylines will no longer sporadically over-plot the labels.

(014) 10/30/24/JPR - New Feature:

A Bayes' Theorem Formula calculator has been added to the Widgets / Finance tools.

(013) 10/30/24/JPR - Improvement:

The Flow Path (Drainage Net) Map, 3D Flow Diagram, Flow Table, and Upgradient Drainage Area programs within the Utilities / Hydrology menu group have been revamped and updated to compute quicker.

(012) 10/28/24/JCJ - Bug Fix:

The import into a system table (e.g. Well Status) with a .tab file now works.

(011) 10/25/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

The Labeled Axes / Dimension / Automatic option that is used within many of the RockWorks MAP-generating programs now expands the eastern border to accommodate "anchored" text. Anchored text is the text that is linked to a symbol such that the two entities can be moved together when displayed within the Plot2D window.

(010) 10/25/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

The Prefix and Suffix settings for the southern label within a radially-labeled point map are no longer reversed.

(009) 10/23/24/JCJ - Improvement:

Added the option to export a PRJ file from RockWorks that could be used to set the projection in Global Mapper or other GIS programs.

(008) 10/22/24/JCJ - Improvement:

Improved the Filter | Remove Disabled Rows tool so that after you select this filter it will result in a smaller file, as one would expect.

(007) 10/11/24/JPR - Improvement:

The Flow Path Map, 3D Flow Diagram, Flow Table, and Upgradient Drainage Area programs have been moved from the ModOps / Grid / Directional sub-menu into the Utilities / Hydrology sub-menu.
