(021) 09/25/24/JPR - New Feature:

An option titled "Auto-Save" has been added to the Playlist menu. If checked, any changes to the playlist will be automatically saved.

(020) 09/25/24/JPR - New Feature:

The Lithology and Stratigraphy types tables now include "hardwired" columns for storing the associated horizontal (HK) and vertical (VK) hydraulic conductivities using scientific notation. These values will be used by forthcoming RockWorks programs.

(019) 09/11/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

Export of a RockPlot2D file to shape files -- the export of the prj files will no longer warn of an incompatible CRS (coordinate reference system). The Polygon.prj will agree with the Point and Polyline prj files.

(018) 09/06/24/JPR - Improvement:

The Borehole Manager | File | Export | Multiple Tables | Leapfrog export will now export Interval and Survey data in addition to the Location, Lithology, Stratigraphy and Point data.

(017) 09/05/24/JPR - Improvement:

Utilities | Maps | Point Symbols | Symbol Options | Symbol Labels - The default for the symbol labels background color is no longer black.

(016) 09/05/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

When a new data type is added for I-Data, P-Data, T-Data, I-Text or P-Text, and the project is later restored from a backup that does not include this new data type, the corresponding field/column is now removed from tab sheet. Previously, an empty column for the missing type would remain visible on the tab sheet.

(015) 09/04/24/JPR - Improvement:

Optimize Columns in the Borehole Manager will now look at the column headers and values to determine column width.

(0147) 09/04/24/JPR - Improvement:

When adding an optional field to a table, the field name will be checked for a conflict with the Location table to avoid import problems when the importer tries to automatically map fields.

(013) 09/03/24/JPR - New Feature:

A new program titled “Contours → Grid” has been added to the ModeOps / Grid / Create sub-menu. The Contours → Grid program will convert the polyline data within a RwDat or a Rw2D file into a grid model constructing a triangle network between the vertices of the polylines and estimating the elevations of the grid nodes that reside within these triangles.

(012) 08/20/24/JPR - New Feature:

A button titled "RockWare Knowledge Base" has been added along the right edge of the main menu bar. Clicking on this button will load the RockWare Knowledge Base into your web browser.

(011) 08/19/24/JPR - New Feature:

A new interpolation method titled "Radial Basis" has been added to the 3D block model algorithm list. This new algorithm produces smooth models that honor the data.

(010) 08/17/24/JPR - Improvement:

When a menu is activated, RockWorks positions it where it was last placed. This can create a problem for laptop users. For example, let's say that you plug your laptop into two external monitors at the office and drag a menu off one of the monitors. Later on, you're at the airport with just the laptop and you open a menu and the program displays it on the non-existent screen. In other words, it's not visible unless you select the Layout / Cascade or Tile option. To eliminate this problem, the program will now check to see if a menu is positioned on a visible monitor after it has been opened. If it isn't, the menu will be automatically moved and maximized onto the main monitor (e.g., the laptop screen).

(009) 08/16/24/JPR - New Feature:

An option titled "Rosegrams" has been added to the symbol options for all programs that create 2-D maps from borehole data. This new capability produces maps that depict lithology or stratigraphy as radial bar graphs without the need for any modeling.

(008) 08/12/24/JCJ - Improvement:

A new option for the Export All-Tracks for I-Data, I-Text, P-Data, P-Text and T-Data is the ability to export only those tracks that actually have data. This eliminates empty columns in the export.

RockWorks export data text

(007) 08/09/24/JCJ - Improvement:

The Multi-Table import into the Borehole Manager will now allow multiple blocks of a given data type, say 3 blocks of Interval-Text data.

(006) 08/06/24/JCJ - Bug Fix:

The Contour Line table was specified in both the 2D Grid Map and 3D Grid Diagram menus. The 3D menu setting won out as it was last to be saved which overwrote the 2D settings. The Contour Line table now uses different variables for 2D and 3D menus.

(005) 08/04/24/JPR - New Feature:

A program titled K-Means Clustering has been added to the ModOps / Statistics sub-menu.

(004) 08/04/24/JPR - New Feature:

A new version of the Raster → Grid program is available w/ bug fixes and a menu re-design. Many improvements have been made to the ModOps / Grid / Import programs. A must read whitepaper!

(003) 07/25/24/JPR - New Feature:

A new program titled “DXF → Polygon Table” has been added to the Utilities / Misc menu. This program will extract one or more polygons from an AutoCAD Data eXchange Format (DXF) file into one or more RockWorks polygon tables that are stored within the SQLite database. These tables can be used to depict polygons and to clip models and diagrams.

(002) 07/21/24/JPR - Bug Fix:

The 2D Peripherals / Image option now works correctly. The previous version would only plot the image if it was in a folder that was different than the current project folder.

(001) 07/07/24/JPR - Improvement:

Two changes have been made to the Graphics / 2D Tools / Montage program.

NOTE: If you are using a NETWORK license, RockWorks20 v. 2022.5.28 and newer require the RockWare Network License Administrator version 1.17 or newer. Check with your license administrator before installing the RockWorks update.
