Guest Molly Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Sound is an Operating System based service which can be configured to make noises when you use the keyboard or click on a control. You can go to the Windows Control Panel, select Sounds and Audio Device Drivers, and finally switch to the Sounds tab. Near the bottom you’ll find Program Events and their corresponding sounds, any of which can be replaced by the (None) option. Molly RockWare Inc
Guest Molly Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 In Windows 7, the "ding" you hear as you edit and tab within a LogPlot7 datasheet can be adjusted by going to the Windows Control Panel / Hardware and Sound. Select the Manage Audio Devices in the Sound grouping. Click on the Sounds tab, and modify the Default Beep item, which appears to be the item that the Logplot event is triggering. You can either choose None, or select a less annoying tone. Molly Mayfield RockWare Inc.
