RockWorks/2002 Revision History
2002/Q1
(1/1/02 - 3/31/02)
Bug Fix (03/28/02/JPR): The Hydrology/Plan program now works correctly. The previous version would execute the Hydrolog/Profile program when selected.
Bug Fix (03/28/02/MIW): The RockPlot3D/Help/About/OpenGL-Troubleshooting/Use-Hardware-Acceleration button now works properly. The previous version would always use the software version of the OpenGL driver (slower - but safer).
Improvement (03/25/02/JPR): The Borehole-Manager/Striplogs/Summary programhas been significantly enhanced to provide a better summary of the data within a log (e.g. the xyz range of all depths for deviated wells). It also now lists all of the original data. This can be useful when you're not sure if the program is skipping data (e.g. typos within numeric fields). The following example (heavily edited to reduce size) depicts the new output.

Improvement (03/24/02/JPR): The Borehole-Manager/File/Export/All-Log-Data->ASCII-Files has been improved;
Only enabled logs are exported therefore the menu item has been renamed to "Borehole Data -> ASCII". This provides much greater flexibility now that the Enable-All and Disable-All buttons have been added to the Borehole Manager.
Along the same lines, the "Log(s) to Export" sub-options (e.g. All-Logs, Selected Log, and Log Number) have been removed.
These changes have been implemented for easier import into other mapping and analysis products that don't handle downhole data.
Removal (03/24/02/JPR): The Borehole-Manager/File/Export/All-Log-Data->Binary-Files option has been removed. Nobody was using it and it just confused people.
Improvement (03/24/02/JPR): The Borehole-Manager/File/Export/All-Log-Data->Excel option has been improved;
Only enabled logs are exported therefore the menu item has been renamed to "Borehole Data -> ExcelI". This provides much greater flexibility now that the Enable-All and Disable-All buttons have been added to the Borehole Manager.
Along the same lines, the "Log(s) to Export" sub-options (e.g. All-Logs, Selected Log, and Log Number) have been removed.
As a consequence, the associated submenu is superfluous and has therefore been removed. Instead, the program simply performs the export when the menu option is selected without the need for a sub-menu.
Be forewarned that the export to Excel is very slow due to the OLE linking. We chose this slow route rather than CSV files in order to create the separate sheets within Excel.
These changes have been implemented for easier import into other mapping and analysis products such that don't handle downhole data.

Bug Fix (03/22/02/MIW): Pattern-fills for vertically exaggerated sections within the output from the RockPlot2D/Export/BMP program are no longer stretched.
Bug Fix (03/22/02/JPR): The labels within the RockPlot2D/Utilities/Annotate program are now offset correctly when the diagram is plotted at a vertical exaggeration greater than 1.0.
Bug Fix (03/22/02/JPR): The symbols within the RockPlot2D/Utilities/Legend/Symbol-Index are no longer rotated 90 degrees.
Bug Fix (03/22/02/JPR): The striplog bargraphs now plot the magnitude label for the lowest magnitude value in the dataset. The previous version would skip the label for the lowest value within the entire database.
New Feature (03/21/02/JPR): Aquifer intervals may now be plotted above the top of the log by unchecking the new "Clip" option within the Striplog/Aquifer option list;
Let's say that you have water level data that is above the top of the log (e.g. there was a lake above the drill-hole collar before it was drilled). Enter the depths as negative values relative to the top of the log as shown within the following example;
Note: The depth-bar is based on the elevations at the collar and TD. Therefore, if you are dealing with negative depths for aquifers, you should use the Border option within the Striplog menu in order to visually quantify the differences in elevations.
New Feature (03/21/02/JPR): The aquifer labeling options within 2D striplogs include two new options that add greater flexibility to how the saturated intervals are labeled. Specifically; (1) It is now possible to determine if the text should be vertically centered. (2) A new leader-line option determines if diagonal lines will be plotted from the top and bottom of the interval to the corresponding text. These new capabilities are especially useful when showing overlapping data.
Note:
- Do not use "borders" and "leaders"
together.
- These new options are only available when plotting 2D logs.
Bug Fix (03/20/02/MIW): Very small text within the RockPlot2D/Utilities/Legend program now properly sets the rightmost margin meaning that text will no longer overplot adjacent information.
Bug Fix (03/19/02/JPR): The File/Import/Utilities-Datasheet->Location-Tab program now works correctly if there are no existing log files.
Bug Fix (03/19/02/MIW): Carat characters within text are now handled correctly by the DXF export routine within RockPlot2D.
Bug Fix (03/19/02/MIW): The thousands separator (typically a comma) within the RockPlot3D geochemical legends no longer appears as a small box. Instead, it will be either a comma (for US-settings) or a decimal place (for European settings).
New Feature (03/16/02/JPR): The "onlap" feature that was recently (3/3/02) added to the stratigraphic block modeling is now available within the fence diagrams and cross-sections. This capability prevents stratigraphic units from overplotting each other. Specifically, the program starts creating the fence diagram by starting with the lowest formation within the stratigraphy table. As units are stacked on top meaning that they are clipped such that they do not extend below the lower unit.
Cosmetic (03/15/02/MIW): Modified the wording in the JPG/MPG Export option.
Cosmetic (03/15/02/MIW): The ESRI Grid Import now shows the correct completion status.
- Uploaded 03/14/02 -
Bug Fix (03/14/02/JPR): The solid-modeling programs no longer ignore the last point within the last log.
Improvement (03/14/02/JPR): The vertical exaggeration factor within RockPlot2D/File/Export/DXF menu is now set, by default, to whatever exaggeration factor was used when plotting the diagram within RockPlot2D.
- Uploaded 03/12/02 -
Improvement (03/12/02/MIW): The following changes have been made to the RockPlot2D program;
- Uploaded 03/11/02 -
New Feature (03/10/02/JPR): A new program titled "Plan" has been added to the Utilities/Solid menu. This program is used to extract and contour a layer from a solid model as a grid.
Bug Fix (03/11/02/MIW): The RockPlot3D program now properly plots voxel-based diagrams with the proper transparency setting.
Bug Fix (03/11/02/MIW): The triangulation-based contouring no longer produces strange contour maps (e.g. lots of little extraneous crenulations) when contouring digitized contour lines.
Bug Fix (03/11/02/MIW): The following changes have been made to the RockPlot2D/DXF export option;
- Uploaded 03/04/02 -
New Feature (03/04/02/JPR): The solid modeling "Stratabounding" feature has been enhanced such that the user now specifies the grid names for existing upper and lower bounding units. This allows the user to specify surfaces that are now limited to a single stratigraphic unit (e.g. a topographic surface and a formation that is three formations below the ground surface). The program also now allows the user to use one or both of the surfaces as filters. Unlike the previous version however, this requires that the surfaces already exist.
Cosmetic (03/04/02/JPR): The new cosmetic feature introduced on 3/2/02 whereby the initial display of a geophysical or geochemical solid model will automatically set the initial cutoff level to the g-value midpoint (i.e. ( Gmax - Gmin ) / 2 ) has been disabled. Too many complaints.
New Feature (03/04/02/JPR): A new option called "Interpolate Outliers" has been added to the horizontal lithoblending algorithm (within the Borehole-Manager/Lithology/Model) menu. When disabled, the program will now assign zero values to the nodes beyond a cutoff distance thereby causing the voxels to be invisible. The cutoff distance is defined as the distance between a well and it's closest neighboring well.
Improvement (03/04/02/JPR): The striplog programs no longer issue error messages if the easting, northing, elevation, or TD fields are blank. Instead, the program simply skips these logs. This eliminates an annoyance when processing large data sets with lots of bad data.
Bug Fix (03/04/02/JPR): The North arrow that is plotted via the RockPlot2D/Utilities/Legend program is now angled correctly.
Bug Fix (03/04/02/JPR): The program now properly computes solid model dimensions based on control points for areas that aren't necessarily square.
- Uploaded 3/3/02 -
New Feature (03/03/02/JPR): The Borehole Manager Striplogs/3D-View/Single-Log menu now includes options for plotting lithology and stratigraphy legends.
Bug Fix (03/03/02/JPR): The "Cage" option for RockPlot/3D diagrams that contain only cylinders (e.g. lithology & stratigraphy columns) now plots correctly.
New Feature (03/03/02/JPR): A new option titled "Onlap" has been added to the Stratigraphy Profile, Fence, and Model programs. This new capability "fixes" models in which portions of an upper unit extend below the base of a lower unit. In order for this program to work correctly, the sequence of formations within the stratigraphy table must be listed from top to bottom (i.e. the younger formations at the top and the lower formations at the base.
Please note that this logical filtering does NOT occur when using the Stratigraphy/Structural Elevations or Stratigraphic-Thicknesses programs.
If you are dealing with non-sequential stratigraphic units (which is NOT what the Stratigraphic capabilities within RockWorks were designed for!), such as dikes, it is still possible to model the geology by disabling the Onlap feature and plotting the model as a voxels-only diagram;
Improvement (03/03/02/JPR): The Stratigraphy Profile, Fence, and Model programs have been modified such that the elevations for a formation subface (base) will be truncated relative to the superface (top) if the subface has a higher elevation than the superface. This solves a potential problem in cases where some wells penetrate the top but not the base of a formation. In these cases, the surface that represents the base of a formation may extend above the top of the formation. Another problem that this solves is problems with lens-like formations.
Please note that this logical filtering does NOT occur when using the Stratigraphy/Structural-Elevations and Stratigraphic-Thicknesses programs.
Improvement (03/02/02/JPR): The borehole list is now automatically sorted whenever a new log is added to the list.
Cosmetic (03/02/02/JPR): The initial display of a geophysical or geochemical solid model will now automatically set the initial cutoff level to the g-value midpoint (i.e. ( Gmax - Gmin ) / 2 ). This means that the initial display is no longer a solid block but rather a diagram that shows something interesting (e.g. the outline of a contaminant plume).
New Feature (03/02/02/JPR): A solid-smoothing option has been added to the following menus;
Borehole Manager
Geochemistry
Profile
Fence
Model
Geophysics

Geological Utilities

Improvement (02/26/02/JPR): The Border option that is used by the cross-section programs now includes options for manually specifying the tick-mark and label intervals. The previous version was limited to an automatic scheme.
Improvement (02/26/02/JPR): The RockPlot/Utilities/Legend has been significantly improved to accomodate vertically exaggerated diagrams;
Entity (e.g. pattern rectangles) widths and height may now be independently dimensioned.
The font size may now be independently dimensioned - relative to the dimensions of the aforementioned entities.
The bitmap dimensions may now be independently specified.
Also, each of the column entities such as x-scale, y-scale, lithology patterns, etc. may now have a column title as shown within the following example;
Bug Fix (02/25/02/JPR): The titles and "notes" that are created by the RockPlot2D/Utilities/Legend program are now plotted in their proper position if the diagram is vertically exaggerated.
- Uploaded 02/25/02 -
Cosmetic (02/25/02/JPR): The trialware version now displays a "RockWorks Trial Version" notice atop the 2D graphics. Also, the DXF, WMF, and EMF export programs within RockPlot2D are no longer available within the trialware version.
- Uploaded 02/25/02 -
Improvement (02/25/02/MMM): Help "abstracts" have been added for the following new programs;
File/Import/Utilities-Datasheet -> Location-Tab
File/Import/RockWorks99-Project
Utilities/Solid/Profile
Utilities/Solid/Fence
Utilities/Grid/Statistics/Residuals
New Feature (02/24/02/JPR): Two new options have been added to the Edit menu and the Borehole Manager "Speedbar" to enable and disable all boreholes.
Bug Fix (02/24/02/JPR): The Striplogs/3D/Special-Pattern captions will no longer appear in 3D logs if they are disabled.
Bug Fix (02/24/02/JPR): The depth-label color within the Striplogs/2D program is now recognized. The previous version would always plot the depth-labels in black regardless of the color setting.
Bug Fix (02/24/02/JPR): The data tree within the RockPlot/3D program is no longer jumbled if a log contains special patterns that have no caption.
Bug Fix (02/23/02/JPR): The RockPlot/2D/Utilities/Rescale program no longer discards TrueType fonts during the rescaling process.
Bug Fix (02/22/02/JPR): The RockPlot/2D/Utilities/Legend program now plots the text correctly when the vertical exaggeration is set to something other than 1.0. The previous version would incorrectly offset the labels.
Improvement (02/22/02/JPR): The Utilities/Stats/Scattergram/Polynomial-Fit menu option titled "Standard Deviation" now reads "Show Equation & Standard Deviation". Once computed the coefficients are now listed as decimal-notation real numbers rather than scientific notation.
Improvement (02/22/02/JPR): The RockPlot/2D exaggeration option now replots the data such that everything fits on the screen. This is very useful when replotting shallow, simple (e.g. lithology only) logs at exaggerated scales (which is something that should almost always be done - even if you're doing it by hand!).
Improvement (02/22/02/JPR): The striplog depth labels are now plotted at more "intelligent" intervals for shallow logs.
Improvement (02/22/02/JPR): When plotting striplogs, the program will now perform the following new "bullet-proofing" operations;
Lithology:
If top-depth or base-depth is blank, interval is skipped.
If top-depth > base-depth then numbers are switched.
If top-depth >= TD then interval is discarded.
If base-depth >= TD then base-depth is set to TD.

If base-depth < 0 then interval is discarded.
Bug Fix (02/22/02/JPR): The RockPlot/2D program no longer terminates when plotting a polygon pattern fill that exceeds 500 vertices. Instead, the program limits the fill to the first 500 points and stores the appropriate error message in the error/status file.
Improvements (02/20/02/MIW): The following improvements have been made to the File/Import/RockWorks/99 program;
- If Northing, Easting or Depth are missing a warning is issued and the data is copied but not enabled.
- If the Elevation is missing the user is prompted to enter the elevation or skip the record.
- If the Borehole name is missing the user is prompted for a name.
- If the Borehole name contains characters that would create an invalid filename they are removed.
Bug Fix (02/18/02/JPR): The non-random horizontal lithoblending algorithm now works correctly. The units are now terminated at the midpoints between the boreholes.
Improvement (02/18/02/JPR): The random lithoblending is now more "reasonable", meaning that the random blending is more centered on the midpoints between the boreholes.
New Feature (02/18/02/JPR): Added boolean coloring options to 3D surfaces.
New Feature (02/16/02/JPR): A new menu option titled "Perimeter" has been added to the 3D options menu when creating grid diagrams within RockPlot3D. This provides a visual reference polyline along the perimeter of the surface that helps to distinguish between the top and the base of a surface when viewing the surface at low angles.
The Perimeter option has a sub-option for defining the perimeter line thickness and color.
New Feature (02/16/02/JPR): A new menu option titled "Flat" has been added to the 3D options menu when creating 3D grid diagrams within RockPlot3D. This provides a means to display grid models as flat surfaces within RockPlot3D - especially useful when comparing geophysical and geochemical grids relative to surface topography;
The new "Flat Surface" option contains a sub-option titled "Elevation". This parameter defines the elevation at which the map will be "floated."
- Uploaded 02/14/02 -
Improvement (02/13/02/MIW): Disabled logs are no longer used when automatically determining the project area dimensions.
- Uploaded 02/14/02 -
Improvement (02/13/02/MIW): A warning is now given if the user attempts to create a duplicate borehole name within the borehole manager.
Bug Fix (02/13/02/MIW): The TrueType font color within strip logs is now based on whatever color the user specified within the font selection dialog.
Bug Fix (02/13/02/MIW): The clipping within the Strip-Log/Geochem bargraphis now works correctly.
Bug Fix (02/13/02/MIW): The well-to-well cross-section selection window can now be closed if the user decides not to select any wells.
Bug Fix (02/13/02/MIW): Fixed the Lithology text size when plotting strip logs.
Bug Fix (02/13/02/MIW): Modifed the pattern fill routine to provide faster zooming in RockPlot 2D.
Bug Fix (02/12/02/MIW): The Utilities/Volume/EZ-Volume program no longer includes blank cells are zero-values (i.e. blank row = 0,0,0).
Improvement (02/12/02/MIW): The RockPlot3D program now warns the user if the screen display is set below 16 bits/pixel.
New Feature (02/12/02/MIW): A new program called "Statistics" has been added to the Edit/Column menu as well as the pop-up menu that appears whenever the user right-clicks on a cell. This program gives a simple statistical summary of the data within the designated column.
New Feature (02/12/02/MIW): A new program called "Filter" has been added to the Edit/Column menu as well as the pop-up menu that appears whenever the user right-clicks on a cell. This program is used to filter-out any values outside a user-defined range.
New Feature (02/12/02/MIW): A new program called "Resample" has been added to the Edit/Column menu as well as the pop-up menu that appears whenever the user right-clicks on a cell. This program is used to resample downhole data at user-defined intervals. This program only works with quantatative downhole data such as geochemistry and geophysics. It will not work with lithology and stratigraphy.
New Feature (02/12/02/MIW): A "progress bar" (i.e. percent completed) bar has been added to the base of the RockPlot3D window. Status messages messages for printing and bitmap exports now also appear on the bottom of the toolbar.
- UPLOADED 02/04/02 -
Improvement (02/05/02/MIW): The RockPlot3D Cold-to-Hot and Hot-to-Cold color assignments make more "sense".
Bug Fix (02/05/02/MIW): The text within the RockPlot3D legends is now positioned properly within long lists.
New Feature (02/02/02/MIW): The RockPlot3D legend option now includes a parameter that draws an outline around the legend.
Bug Fix (02/05/02/JPR): Inclined, sub-horizontal 2D logs are no longer plotted incorrectly. Some new bugs introduced in a recent version caused much of the diagram to be garbled.
Bug Fix (02/05/02/MIW): The lithology volumetrics that are listed within RockPlot3D are no longer listed as zero for all units.
Bug Fix (02/05/02/MIW): Reference cages within the 3D borehole diagrams are now visible. The previous version would not plot the reference cage if the lithology legend was also being plotted.
Bug Fix (02/05/02/MIW): The lithology legend within RockPlot3D no longer offsets the text when displaying long lists.
- UPLOADED 02/04/02 -
Bug Fix (02/04/02/JPR): The lithologic min/max dimensions are now correctly computed when creating lithologic block models based on deviated borehole data.
Bug Fix (02/04/02/JPR): The Cancel button within the lithologic modeling dimensions dialog no longer produces an error message.
Bug Fix (02/04/02/JPR): The y-axis annotation within the basal border of projected sections no longer plots upside-down if the bearing of the profile axis is greater than 180 degrees.
Cosmetic (02/04/02/MIW): The Export/BMP menu within RockPlot3D no longer displays commas a vertical lines.
Bug Fix (02/04/02/JPR): The Import options within the Borehole Manager Lithology, Geochemistry, and Geophysics menus now save the log (into which the data is being imported) automatically. The previous version would only save the imported data if the user edited something else within the log before moving to another log.
Bug Fix (02/04/02/JPR): The fence and cross-section diagrams now correctly scale the screen. This fixes a bug that was introduced in the last upload.
Improvement (02/04/02/MIW): The lighting within the RockPlot3D bitmap export has been improved.
Improvements (02/04/02/JPR): The following table summarizes how the Borehole Manager deals with blank fields in the user-controlled data files. The items in red are new.

02/01/02 -Bug Fix (02/01/02/MIW): The program no longer locks up it the <Enter> key is used to select items from the lithology, stratigraphy, symbols, etc. tables - rather than using the mouse.
New Feature (02/01/02/MIW): RockPlot3D now has the ability to import 2D and 3D DXF files. This program supports DXF LINE, POLYLINE, LWPOLYLINE, 3DFACE, SOLID, and CIRCLE (filled) commands. The options allow the user to specify the elevation at which to 2D file and the vertical offset for a 3D file.
Bug Fix (02/01/02/MIW): The program no longer locks up it the <Enter> key is used to select items from the lithology and stratigraphy
Bug Fix (02/01/02/MIW): Commas are now properly displayed in the real-number dialog boxes within the RockPlot3D menus. The previous version would display commas (or whatever delimiter is being used as the thousands separator) as thick vertical lines.
Bug Fix (02/01/02/JPR): Borehole location symbols within the Map/Well-Locations program are now plotted at the proper angle.
Bug Fix (02/01/02/JPR): Very small TrueType fonts (e.g. bargraph interval labels in projected 2D strip log sections) now plot correctly.
Bug Fix (01/31/02/MIW): Two-dimensional plots of inclined drill holes no longer bomb if the viewing plane is the same as the bearing of the log.
Improvement (01/31/02/MIW): The RockWorks99 -> RockWorks2002 data import program now includes a user-defined decimal place option when converting elevations to depths.
Improvement (01/29/02/JPR): The Geological Utilities / Map / EasyMap program now uses TrueType fonts (versus ugly vector fonts) when labeling the control points. In addition, text is now placed more reliability within the color-filled regions.

Bug Fix (01/28/02/JPR): The well traces and border annotation within the Borehole Manager / Map / Borehole-Locations program now plot deviated wells correctly. A new bug was introduced within the 1/26/02 upload that caused the border to be inappropriately dimensioned as well as erratic log traces.
New Feature (01/27/02/JPR): Some new options have been added to the Utilities/OpenGL/Spheres program such that the spheres can be plotted in a uniform color thereby eliminating the requirement that there be a separate color column.
New Feature (01/27/02/JPR): A new Export option has been added to the Borehole Manager Lithology menu. This program will export XYZG values for all lithology data based on either the midpoints of the lithology intervals or regularly sampled intervals.

New Features (01/25/02/MIW): The following modifications have been made to the RocKPlot3D program;
New Feature (01/23/02/JPR): A new option labeled "Export" has been added to the Hydrology menu within the Borehole Manager. The Hydrology/Export program allows the user to export XYZ data for a selected search date. The Z value can represent either the depth to the top of an aquifer, the elevation at the top of the aquifer, the elevation at the base of the aquifer, or the thickness of the aquifer.
Bug Fix (01/23/02/JPR): The horizontal and vertical text orientation buttons within the Borehole Manager Map/Borehole-Locations program are no longer reversed.
New Feature (01/23/02/JPR): The Borehole Manager Stratigraphy/Export program now includes an option for viewing the output file within the default Windows text file editor.
Bug Fix (01/23/02/JPR): The Borehole Manager Hydrology/Plan program no longer produces an error message when attempting to plot a diagram depicting the depth to the top of the aquifer.
Improvement (01/21/02/JPR): The Borehole Manager Map/Borehole-Locations program now used TrueType fonts instead of vector fonts. The x- and y-offset settings have also been removed. Instead, the program automatically determines how far to offset the label without overplotting the adjacent symbol.
Bug Fix (01/18/02/MIW): Fixed the projection of single deviated wells that caused occasional zig zags in lines at the base of the log.
Bug Fix (01/18/02/MIW): Fixed the datagrid editor so that when the grid isn't in edit mode a carriage-return will start editting on current cell. If it is in edit mode, it moves down one cell.
Bug Fix (01/18/02/MIW): Fixed the datagrid editor such that two adjacent cells that have been copied into the clipboard are no longer pasted into a single cell.
Bug Fix (01/18/02/MIW): Vertical projections of multiple logs now exclude logs that extend beyond the endpoints of the section.lines.
Improvement (01/18/02/MIW): Enhanced the Multi-Well Profile Picker so that the Distance from profile clipping is always on. Added buttons for zooming and redrawing, and added a spin edit for the distance from line parameter.
Bug Fix (01/11/02/JPR): The "abstracts" that appear along the right side of each menu have been fixed. The 01/09/01 upload introduced a new bug that garbled these messages.
Improvement (01/11/02/JPR): The installation program has been decreased by 3mb (removed MenuPics index table).
New Feature (01/10/02/JPR): The 3D geochemical bargraphs have been significantly enhanced;
Some new menu options have been added to the 3D striplog bargraph options. Specifically, geochemical values may now be plotted as variable radius spheres, cylinders, and oblates. Please note that other entities such as lithology columns, etc. should be plotted judiciously when used in conjunction with logs that use these entities. The new spheres are primary designed to be plotted by themselves with the exception of log titles and log axes. The midpoint of the oblates is along the axis of the log. Also ... the long axis of the oblates is always horizontal.

The colors that are used to display the new cylinders, spheres, and oblates may now be automatically coded such that the low values corresponds to the cold colors (e.g. dark blue), while the high values correspond to the hot colors (e.g. red). This new feature also applies to the old style of bargraph (tubes).
These new diagram types and color-coding is defined by the new menu items (within the 3D-StripLog menu) shown below;
Bug Fix (01/10/02/JPR): The installation program name has been changed from "Install_RW2002.exe" to "rw2002_installation.exe". This solves some file name irregularities with older browsers when downloading RockWorks/2002 from the RockWare web site.
Bug Fix (01/10/02/JPR): The File/Export/Locations -> Utilities Datasheet program no longer stores blank longitude/latitudes as huge negative numbers. Instead, the program now stores blank longitude/latitudes as zeroes. Also: The program now stores the data in the order listed for the new Utilities DataSheet -> Location Tab (described below).
Cosmetic (01/10/02/JPR): A new program titled "Utilities Datasheet -> Location Tab" has been to the Utilities/Export menu. This program is identical to the new Borehole-Manager/Import/Utilities-Datasheet->Location-Tab (described below). It's just stored in two places so that it's easier to find.
New Feature (01/10/02/JPR): A new program titled "Utilities Datasheet -> Location Tab" has been added to the Borehole Manager File/Import menu. This program will allow the user to import data for the fields listed below within the Borehole Manager location tab. If the specified file name does not exist within the borehole manager, it will be created. If it does exist, the location fields will be replaced by the location information within the datasheet - so be careful.
