Adaptive Groundwater computes groundwater pathlines that start from User-selected starting coordinates.
Pathlines may be tracked either “forward” (with groundwater flow; i.e., forward in time) or “backward” (backward in time). The pathline may also be stopped at a specified time during the simulation. Pathline trajectories may be viewed with and without the effects of chemical retardation in both two- and three-dimensional views. Also, travel-time markers may be plotted on the pathlines at specified time intervals.
Adaptive Groundwater saves solute concentration and hydraulic head vs. time data at User-requested (x,y,z) monitoring locations during simulations. These results can them be viewed and exported by clicking on a particular monitoring location.
