Manojhatta
I want some guidance and help on the following How to restrict the model interpolating surfaces beyond a specific line on ground (like a fault would do) All interpolation should be restricted within a shape file
Manojhatta
Can this be done by polygon filtering? Can a ESRI shape file be used to define a polygon
Brianna
Manojhatta, You can draw your own polygon or use a shapefile as a clipping boundary for your model. Once you have loaded your polygon to either a polygon table in RockWorks, or using an rwDat file, you can assign the polygon to the model options using the Polygon check box in the "Additional Options" portion of the solid modeling options. Save your polygon to a polygon table by right clicking on the polygon in RockPlot2D and use the Save to Polygon Table option. This will give you access to this polygon throughout RockWorks. In addition to polygon restriction, you can restrict a model by distance from a point using the distance filter in the "Additional Options" portion of the modeling options.
