Molly
This error can occur on program startup if LogPlot7 does not have permission to write to the "System" folder in your "\My Documents\LogPlot 7" folder. Since most users have full permissions in My Documents (though, it's still a good idea to check*), we've found an easy solution is to rename "\My Documents\LogPlot 7" to something like "\My Documents\LogPlot 7 old", then restart the program. It will rebuild the folder on the fly, and permissions are usually refreshed properly. Any customized files in the old folder (patterns, symbols, keywords, etc.) can be moved to the new, working folder. (*You might also right-click on the Windows Start / Documents shortcut, choose Properties, and check the default My Documents folder that Windows is using.) Molly Mayfield RockWare Inc.
