Molly 0
A client recently reported that Windows was delivering a Data Execution Prevention (DEP) error when they tried to click hyperlinks in the LogPlot7 Help system (CHM file). They discovered that uninstalling Google Desktop solved the problem. Note that I am able to run Google Desktop concurrently with the LogPlot Help system with no conflicts - perhaps it's a Google Desktop version issue? My Windows Vista system (in My Computer/Properties/Advanced/Performance Settings) is set up with DEP set to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only." Higher restrictions may require listing hhlauncher.exe and robohtml.exe under the exceptions below "Turn on DEP for all programs except…" Molly RockWare Inc.
