Cannot open C:(location)....\*.grd

Full Error: Cannot open file "C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\My Documents\RockWorks2004\Samples\*.grd". The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Answer: This occurs when you select to "Plot Surface Profile" while you are creating a Stratigraphy ot Lithology Profile. The program needs a grid file to define this profile and the error will occur if nothing has been selected, or the grid file has been moved or deleted.

When creating yout diagram, make sure to select this option and expand the settings to select the appropriate grid.
