How to open LogPlot by clicking on the .DAT file

Answer: You need to assign this file type .DAT to the LogPlot program through Windows...

1. In Windows Explorer go to "Tools > Folder Options" and click on the "File Types" tab.

2. First search the "Registered file types" for the DAT extension.

3. If it exists select the "Change" button and in the "Open With" dialog use the "Browse" button tp select the LogPlot program. If not then go to step 4.

4 Use the "New" button to add the DAT extension to the list. Return to step 3.

Be aware that when you do this any file with the .dat extension will be opened by LogPlot and may not be displayed correctly.
