Vale Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Hello, We are experiencing a problem with Petrasim 2016. The software is not working anymore. When we launch the software, this error message appear: Quote PetraSim Version: 2016.2.0523 x64 Date: 21-mar-2024 9.40.28 java.lang.NullPointerException at java.util.Collections.sort(Collections.java:175) at thunderheadeng.util.VersionUtil.buildPanel(Unknown Source) at petrasim.gui.PetraCheckForUpdatesDlg.init(Unknown Source) at thunderheadeng.util.VersionUtil$ACheckForUpdatesDlg.<init>(Unknown Source) at petrasim.gui.PetraCheckForUpdatesDlg.<init>(Unknown Source) at petrasim.gui.PetraSim$2.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745) As soon as we click on the Error, the software closes. We understand this is a Java related problem, but we don't know how to manage it. Java software installed is the latest one: Java RE Version 8 Update 401 We need to use the software for an ongoing project. Any solutions? Best Regards, Vale
Alison Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 PetraSim v2016 is an older program that is no longer supported. I do recall an error such as this popping up many years ago. If you could contact us at tech@rockware.com with your licensing details, we will try to help you resolve the problem. Best Regards, Alison
