Hi all,

 

Please I am new user of PetraSim and would like to know how to show the gas pressure and liquid pressure versus time for the results. I know how to print specific grid. But, the flof excel file shows only a pressure without specifying the phase. Can you please help with that.

Abdelrizik,

 

For 2 phase models, TOUGH outputs gas pressure.  Liquid pressure can be determined based on the capillary pressure:   Pl = Pg + Pc (Pc is defined negative in TOUGH2).

 

You will probably need to calculate liquid pressure in Excel and create your plot there.

Thank you so much for your reply. The system is fully saturated with water and I am injecting Hydrogen using E0S5. Is the pressure column in the flof excel file referring to which phase? Is the value of Pc of -2.83E6 can be realistic?
