Peter Schuerch Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Hi Why do I get with many operations the Error "Not a valid RWGRD file." althouth the RWGRD-File was created beforehand with Rockworks? I could display the grid without Problems without draping an image over it. This time I wanted to - use "Grid --> 2D Map / 3D Map Diagram" - drape a PNG over it I created in Rockworks beforehand I have attached the PNG, the grid is too large. I have restarted Rockworks several times. running version 2022.9.30 thanks for any advice, Peter
Paul Crossett Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Good morning Peter, Would you be able to zip your project and send it to us at tech@rockware.com? I would like to take a look at the data you are working with and try to re-create the issue to see what is going on.
JimReed Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Hi Peter, Not sure if you sent anything to Paul yet, but if not, I'll be working this weekend so you can send the .rwgrd file to me via DropBox, Google Drive, or whatever is convenient. Jim Reed - jim@rockware.com
Peter Schuerch Posted December 19, 2022 Author Posted December 19, 2022 Hi everybody, Thanks for offering to look into this (over the weekend!). Whilst preparing a zip for you I found the problem, which was: The gridfile which should be the base for the image didn't exist, there was a typo in the filename, hence didn't work and only the grid file to be displayed showed up. (It's a bit counter-intuitive, that you have to specify the grid file twice)
