Hi Ali,

Thank you for the SQLite database.  That shaved hours, maybe even days, off the try-this/try-that process.

Here's a link to a new version:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/2irepaxs0pjax17/rockworks20_installation.exe?dl=0

The program was configured to read the “Collar Elevation” which was blank, hence the error message.  Consequently, the program was modified to;

  1. Accept blank values for the elevation.
  2. Allow the user to specify either the Elevation or the Collar Elevation as the z-value for the boreholes.

Other Changes:

  • The Column Titles page has been removed from the menu.
  • The CSV column titles have been “hardwired” as follows;

              Locations

                    Borehole

                    Easting

                    Northing

                    Elevation

                    TD

                    Dip

                    Azi

              Lithology

                    Borehole

                    Top Depth

                    Base Depth

                    Lithology

              Stratigraphy

                    Borehole

                    Top Depth

                    Base Depth

                    Formation

              Pdata

                    Borehole

                    Depth

                    Value

  • If the program is attempting to create a CSV file that is already opened within Excel, the program will no longer show a cryptic error message.  Instead, the program will display an explanatory message and prompt the user to close the Excel file and try again.
  • The program now includes an option for exporting the stratigraphy data.

Best regards,

Jim.

Hi Ali,

Not sure how your morning looks, but I'd like ask that you try to install and test this latest version as soon as possible.  I'll be gone from tomorrow morning until Monday so it would be optimal to fix any problems this evening.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Jim.

p.s. It's 4:18pm in Golden and 8:18am in Brisbane.
