Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I am new to this Rockwork software. Am glad to keep in touch with you all, I just got access to use this site, I got some trouble with creating PowerPivot Data Model in Excel. Can anyone please give the ways to move further steps.

Any suggestion, guidelines are very much appreciated.

Hi Sarika,

You can use Excel without the PowerPivot add-on to import and export data between RockWorks and Excel. RockWorks data can be stored in separate sheets in Excel to mirror the database structure in RockWorks. For example, the Location table in RockWorks is stored in an Excel sheet named Location, and the Lithology table in RockWorks is stored in an Excel sheet named Lithology. Refer to the Excel files Samples Training01.xlsx and RockWorks Data Import.xls in the RockWorks \Samples\ folder.

You may want to refer to the Microsoft help regarding PowerPivot tables.

Regards,
