A new version of RockWorks17 (64- and 32-bit) was uploaded to the RockWare website today, with the following changes:

New Features:

Vertical Images to Polylines and Vertical Image To Polyline programs have been added to the Utilities / Imagery menu. It takes a raster image and splits it to the segments of a polyline (RwDat).

Deviated and Inclined boreholes can now be plotted in TVD (True Vertical Depth) in 2D Logs, Sections and Projected Sections.

EZMap 3D creates a 3D Delaunay Triangle Network and displays color contours based on a G Value for display in RockPlot3D.

Dogleg Severity and GridX (horizontal distance from KB x) and GridY (vertical distance from KB y) have been added to the Borehole Survey Report.

The RockPlot2D Export to RockPlot3D now exports Profiles as vertical panels.

The RockPlot2D Scalebar can now also be displayed with an alternating bar style.

Added ability when creating a new project from an existing project, to copy of any/all of their other project files: RwDat, Rw2D,RwGrd, RwMod, Rw3d, RwRpt, Rcl   (or for RockWorks15 ATD, GRD, MOD, RK6, R3DXML, RW6, RCL - converted)

Users can now select a specific aquifer to plot in 2D striplogs.

RockWorks Data Dictionary version was updated to version 33.  This adds 3 fields to work with Custom coordinate projections

The single point coordinate converter calculates only the output projections selected.

The Borehole Manager Other Coordinate Projections was re-worked to use a common frame for the projection information.

The Transfer between the Borehole Manager and the Utilities datasheet will use feet/meters for projection units (SPC, UTM, Local)

Prompts are displayed on startup for missing Documents or AppData folders.

The Symbol color for the vector symbol for each borehole was not being exported (Text and Excel) and therefore not being re-imported.

To compliment the sub-project feature the section, profile, fence and projected section pickers now display all the enabled boreholes in a project. The Truncate option has been exposed in the section selection dialog so that it can be disabled fro selecting boreholes outside of the project.

Comments for the Location can now be imported (Text/Excel) when the comments are greater than 8k. This was an issue when using SQL Server as the database engine.

The Polygon Clipping using RockPlot2D polygons now ignores polylines (e.g. contours) and polygons that are hidden.

I-Data Striplog colors didn't match the model colors for the same value when using a color table.

Borehole Manager Adjust Total Depths will now work when the data for Stratigraphy has only Tops

When working with Stratigraphy Types Table, RockWorks will check both the Stratigraphy and Production tables for any deletes or reassignments of type values

The single point coordinate converter was not always correctly determining if the user was looking for values to be in feet or meters for the output.

RockPlot 2D once again allows coordinate conversions to Longitude/Latitude in Decimal Degrees.

Excel writer was not dimensioning the array sufficiently for the added PJParams value in the Units tab

An issue with Windows Large fonts setting has been fixed.

Fixed a text size issue with Windows 10 and builds starting with 17134 when set for large fonts (>100%) that caused some menu items to not be visible.

Fixed text placement in the 2D Log Designer window.

The Section, Profile, Fence and Projected Section selection map no longer display at a reduced size.

The defaults for the Superface and Subface replacement values is now the RW NULL.

Solid | Filters | RockPlot2D Polygon Clip no longer creates an error if the RP2D map does not contain any polygons.
