Showcasing Fossil Data

Hello,

 

I am fairly new to this program but I have learned all the basic functions to create a successful lithologic model. However, I would like to know what would be the best way to depict fossil data from each borehole within a 3D or 2D lithology model or fence diagram? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Jvp,

 

One way to display the fossils is to save raster images of the fossil and import the raster image files at the desired depth in the Bitmaps table in RockWorks. Plot them in 2D or 3D using the Striplog menu in the Borehole Manager. The striplogs can also be appended to 2D and 3D models and fence diagrams by turning on the option to plot the logs, or by appending a separate striplog diagram.
