A new version of RockWorks17 was uploaded to the RockWare website on June 1st, with the following new features, improvements, and bug fixes:

 

New Features:
+ The Lithology | Model | Include Volumetrics sub-menu now includes options for independently enabling/disabling the volume and mass computations.
+ The Lithology | Closest-Point modeling algorithm now supports model tilting and warping
+ The Borehole Manager | Filter | Select option now allows setting Enabled based on Option Fields with no value set (compared to NULL).
+ Two new options have been added to the Borehole Manager | Edit menu for saving and retrieving/restoring the enabled/disabled status of the boreholes.
+ It is now possible to choose Current, Enabled, or All when using the Borehole Manager | Edit | Adjust Total Depths program.
+ Tonnes Per Cubic Foot has been added to the list of density conversion factor units within the LithoTypes and StrataTypes tables.
+ Iso-Surface Contour options has been added to the Morph Model program.
+ Clipped isosurfaces can displayed color contours in RockPlot3D.

 

Improvements:
+ Lines within RockPlot3D are no longer anti-aliased.

Bug Fixes:  
+ The colors within raster images in RockPlot3D are no longer reversed.
+ Elevations for inclined boreholes that angle upwards are now computed correctly.
+ Very large scenes within RockPlot3D no longer cause raster images to draw incorrectly
+ The Striplogs | 2-Dimensional | Section program no longer generates an Access Violation error when correlations are enabled for I-Data or P-Data.
+ The RCL “Dimensions” command now properly supports the subsite name and enable/disable borehole settings.
+ The G-Filter Replace options now work correctly

Hi Rudy,

 

its a problem with the focus. When the RockPlot3D window is embedded in the menus dialog there are a lot of controls competing for the focus. Try clicking on the scene tree or in the zoom combo box and then use your mouse wheel.
