New versions of LogPlot8 (32-bit and 64-bit) were uploaded to the RockWare website today, with the following new features, improvements and bug fixes:

+ 64-bit Version Now Available! Especially helpful for higher-resolution exports. If you have already licensed the 32-bit version, you are welcome to install the 64-bit version and contact RockWare for a new unlocking code.

+ New Compile option for embedding system files (keyword, pattern and symbol) within the compiled log (LPT8 files). Without embedding, opening an existing LPT8 file will pull the keywords, patterns, and symbols from the currently-default libraries (linked). The files with embedded system files are approximately 300k larter that files without the embedding. This Embed option is available in both the Compile and System Options windows.

+ Point or Interval Symbols with an undefined size parameter now default to the width of the column.

+ Continuous color-fills within Curves and Bar Graphs are now plotted correctly when ranging from a dark to a lighter shade of a single color.

+ The correct page numbers are now displayed when exporting to PDFs, bitmaps, or printing.

+ LogPlot8 line types (e.g. wavy lines) for lithology and stratigraphy contacts are now exported to the RockWorks17 lithology and stratigraphy tables.

To download this build, use the Help | Check for Updates menu inside LogPlot8. Or visit the LogPlot demo page (https://www.rockware.com/product/productDemo.php?id=176) where you can download the installation program and install the new build right over the top of the existing program.

Note that you will not be able to use this new build of the program if your maintenance has expired. Contact RockWare Sales or visit our new Customer Portal (https://www.rockware.com/customer) and create a new account (new visitors) or log in with your existing accout if you would like to update your maintenance.

Cheers!
