d.campbell13
I would like to create a striplog map with the striplog datumed on a stratigraphic surface. The map would then be used to show the variation in log response of a given interval around the map area, and illustrate any stratigraphic traps/ interval pinch outs etc. Can this be done in RW16? I see that you can clip logs to an elevation range but haven't found a way of clipping to a range around a stratigraphic surface like you can do in the 2d striplog designer. Alison
I'm assuming that you are interested in the Map / Multi-log map menu item in RockWorks16. Unfortunately, this item does not have any tools for hanging the striplogs on a datum. The only way that I can think to do with would be for you to adjust the elevations in the boreholes so that the stratigraphic units of interest falls at an elevation of 0. You could then clip the boreholes in the database based on a distance away from this unit. Please feel free to send questions about this to tech @ rockware. com Best Regards, Alison
