KPC Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Hi, i nedd to do sub-vertical flat plane (-88 degrees) with 300 dip direction , i try with GRID-INITIALIZE tool but the result is not what I expected, when I apply a limit up and down to this grid the result is worse and that makes me what you see in the figure below. What is the best way to make a grid subvertical as I want? Thaks a lot.
KPC Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 Hi Tom, my XY spacing is 5x5 and Z=1, I try to decrease the XY spacing but doesnt work, and i used Grid Range Filter but i dont know how report the XY min, max and the others data like you suggest, my data are: X minimun =543,106.144455 X Maximun=544,769.144455 Y Minimun=1,110,446.075264 YMaximun=1,111,951.075264 Z minimun=190 Zmaximun=541 Spacing X=5 Y=5 Z=1 And the flat plane is: Dip Direction=300 Dip Amount=-88 Reference point X=544,290.219 Y=1,111,252.912 Z=304 Where I put this data in the Grid Range Filter? Thanks a lot! Ibe waiting you reply.
KPC Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Hi TomB.I understand what the spacing to 2, I try reducing it.Still my result is not like yours and no where will be the error. I Attach 2 files with a details . Thanks.Vertical GRID.pdf
KPC Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 You read my mind!! the second file i can not send because was big, I did the Range_Grid_Filter and get the vertical grid 1 image..... Is similar but is no the same, i know that is somethin in the valor of the grid, and i dont know how to filter it, when i do a Grid_Profile i get the Vertical grid 2 image. Maybe i have some option actÃvate or inactivate, I moved the Project dimensions to new one with the default configuration but the result is the same.
KPC Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Tom B. I know which is my mistake, i was entry a 0 valor in the replancement Range-Grid-Filter, and it has to be null.... Thanks Tom B.
