d.campbell13 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 I see how you can edit contour lines either via edit of map graphics or as polyline edit , but is there any (easy) way that you can update the original grid with the edited contour (z) locations?
TomB 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 Hi d.campbell13, RockWorks can update the original grid with edits if you use the Utilities Grid | Edit menu command. I don't know of an easy way to update the grid using changes to the contour lines made in the RockPlot/2D window. You can click on one or more contours line, then right-click and choose Save to XY (Polyline) Table, then open the table from the Project Manager and save it to an ASCII TAB file. Add the Z coordinate for the contour and append the new points to the original XYZ data and re-grid. Thanks, Tom B RockWare Inc
d.campbell13 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2013 Tom, thanks for the tip. I can see how to save the edited contour (x,y,z) data but am not sure how that would work with original x,y,z data when it came from the Borehole Manager. DSC
TomB 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2013 You can export the data from the Borehole Manager to the Utilities datasheet. For Location and Stratigraphy, choose the Borehole Manager File | Transfer menu command. In RockWorks 16, export I-Data, P-Data, and other tables with the Borehole Manager File | Export menu command.
