How to arrange the Data Tabs in the Data Editor.

The data file is an ASCII text file made up of clearly defined blocks of data. By changing the position of these blocks in the file the order of the tabs will be changed. You can do this from the Data window by selecting Data/View as Text from the menu or you can open the data file in your own text editor. You must be careful performing this simple operation since a mistake can scramble the data when it is loaded back into the spreadsheets. You should make a backup before editing the file.

In LogPlot 98 the order that the data was compiled was the same as the order in the data file. In LogPlot 2001, 2003 and 2005 the order is based on the order of the entities in the LogDesign file (LDF). More information on the format of this file can be found in the on-line help in the Reference section.
