jlboone Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 I've lost my copy of Autocad 2011 due to the maximum # of licenses being reached at my firm. We'll have to purchase another seat for $3800+ for me to continue using Autocad+Quicksurf and I have to make that case to management, being the only non-drafter user in the entire company. I have noticed progeCAD as a strong contender to Autocad as a "clone" program and wondered if there is any chance that Quicksurf will work with it. If so, it sure would expand the likely user pool. MrDPG Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 Hi Tom, From reading up on Bricscad BRX it appears that "binary compatibility" (direct loading of ARX) is not available, but the same source code could be compiled as a BRX for use in Bricscad.
