complex stratigraphy model

I’m working on complex stratigraphy model as rapresented in the schetch.

Features of the model:

1. alluvial valley

2. 3 aquifer

3. about 100 borehole

I would ask to you if my procedure is correct:

1. Stratigraphy types

• Aquifer A order 1

• Aquifer B order 2

• Aquifer C order 3

• rock order 4

2. Stratigraphy model generation

2.1. Surface manipulation: Grid limit filter:

• TOP_rock - TOP Aquifer A = TOP_rock filtered

• TOP_rock filtered - TOP Aquifer B = TOP_rock filtered 2

• TOP_rock filtered 2 - TOP Aquifer C = TOP_rock filtered 3

• BASE_rock - BASE Aquifer A = BASE_rock filtered

• BASE_rock filtered - BASE Aquifer B = BASE_rock filtered 2

• BASE_rock filtered 2 - BASE Aquifer C = BASE_rock filtered 3

When I manually build a stratigraphic model, the result is not realistic.can you suggest me how to modify the model?post-10312-044803500 1325679906_thumb.jpg

thank you for your replay. I've another doubt about missing formation.

is correct to insert data in this way?

borehole tipe B
depth to top depth to base formation
0 Acquifer A
                               Acquifer B
                               Acquifer C
0 0 Rock (no stratigrafic unit)

borehole tipe C:
depth to top depth to base formation
0 10 Acquifer A
10 Acquifer B
                               Acquifer C
0 0 Rock (no stratigrafic unit)

borehole tipe D:
depth to top depth to base formation
0 10 Acquifer A
10 20 Acquifer B
20 Acquifer C
0 0 Rock (no stratigrafic unit)
