Script (automation) options

Recommended Posts

Hi - pardon if this question has been asked before, I couldn't find anything in the search.

Does Rockworks support scripts? I'd love to write a script to automatically krige X data, apply a color table, and then export an image from different angles.

thanks!

Hi Columbia Tech,

RockWorks uses the RockWorks Command Language to automate operations. The commands for each secondary menu can be saved to an RCL file from the Menu menu item.

Refer to the RockWorks help for more information about using RCL files, and for example files.

Thanks,

RCL can be used to create an image in 2D. Unfortunately, there are no RCL controls in RockPlot3D, so the most you could do is use the script to create the 3D view of the grid. You would then have to manually specify the color table and run the exports after specifying the viewing angle.

Regards,

Alison
