"File Access Denied" Opening files in LogView

Answer: If you received the LPT file on CD or diskette, it is likely that it was copied over to your hard drive in a "read only" state. LogView cannot open LPT files that are saved in this manner.

To change the state of the LPT file, do the following:

1. Using Windows Explorer locate the LPT file.

2. Right-click on the file and choose Properties.

3. Remove any check-mark from the read-only attribute check-box.

4. Click OK.
