How to setup contour label on QuickSurf

Recommended Posts

Dear Sir,

I have down loaded the Quick Surf V.6 30days-free version and installed on Acad2007 it's working well. I would like your kind support on one problem regarding to setup the decimal of contour labels. When I plot the contours and tied to label them, I am expected the contour interval is 2.5m. The labeled contours shown 1, 2.50, 5, 7.50... But I would like to have 2 decimal contour number. How to setup the contour label to 2 decimal number.

Thank you very much for your kind support and sorry for my English.

Best regards,

Hi Chan,

The number of decimal places for contour labels is controlled by the AutoCAD Units and Style settings.

To change the number of decimal places on an existing label, double-click on the label to edit it, and add the desired number of trailing zeros.

Thanks,

Tom B

Tom,

Thank you very much for your kind support. I have tried already follows your suggestion, however, can we set the trailing zeros automatically like the primary unit in a dimension style setup?

Best regards,

Chan

Hi Chan,

QuickSurf does not appear to have the ability to specify the number of trailing zeroes, as the help states that this is controlled by AutoCAD. I am unable to find how to set this in AutoCAD, but you may be able to find a way by searching the AutoCAD help files.

Thanks,

Tom B
