Float an Aerial Error Message 004D7D02
ColumbiaTech replied to ColumbiaTech's topic in RockWorks Error Messages
Mitch, I'd be happy to. Where should I send the files to? -
Hello I get the following error message when I try to float an aerial using an RCL (that I've been using successfully for a while). Error reading "C:\......aerial.r3dxml" - Access violation at address 004D7D02 in module "RockPlot3D15.exe". Read of address 00000004

Hello My Rockworks 15 has suddenly started the following error message anytime i try to open a new or existing project: Error: UNABLE TO LOCATE SYMBOL FILE ======================================== Loading Symbol File "*.sym" The file that contains the symbol library cannot be located.

Is there a way to change the default Cold to Hot color scheme to be blue to red, instead of pink to red? Without having to create a color fill table? Thanks!
-
Can do, thanks Alison!

Here are two pngs - one looking north the other looking east. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your quick replies. My offset direction is set to 0, and I played with the ambient lighting (no luck either). Any other ideas?

Hello When I rotate a 3D model to 270 degrees, all my striplogs disappear. The labels stay, but my downhole info is gone. Looking from the 180 degree angle is fine. I modeled my striplogs the same way I always do, and I've never had this problem before. Any thoughts?

Molly, thanks for your quick reply. Will zip and upload in a minute. Mitch, when I click Ignore I get the following error message: "Unable to read the DXF file - Access violation at address 0050294F in module 'RockPlot3D15.exe'. Read of address 0000000C". Not sure if that helps

Hello I found this post, which explained a bit, but didn't help figure out a solution: https://www.rockware.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=131&st=0&p=173&hl=importing&fromsearch=1entry173 I'm getting the error message "An unexpected entity [TEXT] has been found. Line 0." when trying to import a dxf map I received from my client. I had him trim down the dxf to only the layers I needed, which still gives me the error message. Unfortunately I don't have CAD or similar software to try to troubleshoot the problem myself. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hi - pardon if this question has been asked before, I couldn't find anything in the search. Does Rockworks support scripts? I'd love to write a script to automatically krige X data, apply a color table, and then export an image from different angles. thanks!

Thanks for your quick response, Molly. It's on my wish list too!

Hello New user here - How can I add a title at the top of my 3D diagram? I need to take multiple images from different angles of the same 3D diagram, and it is time-consuming to edit my image file to add text after exporting it. Thanks! Amy
