Ever since geoscientists started identifying meteorites as chunks of other planets and their satellites, the idea of life originating from extraterrestrial sources has been a fascinating topic. But, have you ever thought of Earth as the source for seeding life elsewhere? Given (1) the durability of bacteria within hostile environments, (2) the fact that bacteria has been found in cracks as deep 4,000 feet, and (3) the overwhelming evidence of monster terrestrial impacts capable of ejecting materials into outer space that occurred AFTER life began (e.g. Cretaceous/Triassic, Triassic/Jurassic, Permian/Triassic), it’s obvious that the Earth is like a dandelion spreading seeds throughout the solar system.
