Overview

CTD-Diver

The CTD-Diver multi-parameter groundwater monitoring instrument is constructed with a durable ceramic casing making it impervious to potentially corrosive substances that may be found in some groundwater environments.
Groundwater Quality Recording
Frequent monitoring of soil and groundwater quality is traditionally a labour-intensive job. This is also the case if saltwater intrusion or pollution at remediation sites needs to be monitored.

The new CTD-Diver by Schlumberger Water Services now sets the standard for reliability and longevity in groundwater quality monitoring. The CTD-Diver is a fully stand-alone datalogger with built-in memory, battery and sensors. Its ceramic casing and unparalleled conductivity measuring range (0-80 mS) make the CTD-Diver suitable for use at every measuring site.

The CTD-Diver is impervious to the most aggressive substances found in water environments. Its ceramic casing resists when even the strongest metals yield.

It is a highly reliable, compact datalogger for the simultaneous measuring of groundwater level, temperature and conductivity. These parameters are measured at time intervals predetermined by the user. The measured values are stored in the datalogger’s memory and can be read out at any given time.

CTD-Diver Benefits
  • Frequent, long-term measuring without human intervention
  • Reliable and accurate measurement data
  • Easy calibration

Connection Options
The Diver suite of products offer several connection options for data retrieval and instrument programming.

When the Diver is installed in the monitoring well by means of steel wire, the measured data can be read out on a PC, laptop or PocketPC with a Reading Unit equipped with a USB output. Click here for more information about the USB Optical Reading Unit.

Diver Data Cables (DDC) make it possible to read or program the Diver at the top of the monitoring well without withdrawing the instrument. If you plan to use DDC Cables, then you can connect to the Diver using a PC Interface Cable, or the Diver-Mate data collection device.

The Diver-NETZ Suite of tools allow for wireless data collection using Diver-Data EXchange Transceiver Cables and a Diver-Data EXchange Dongle that connects to your PocketPC.
