New Features in Downhole Explorer 3.1 |
- Enhanced User Interface
Right-click, context menus have been streamlined, making them more accessible and more intuitive, and providing you with the commands you are looking for.
- View Properties now easier to modify
View settings can now be managed and manipulated more easily through the View Settings dialog which can be accessed via the enhanced context menu, or through the 'More Properties...' button on the Properties Window. This provides intuitive and dynamic control over the selected view.
- Export of Data as Datamine Strings or Points Files
String and point data can now be exported from Downhole Explorer and Present in Studio Format.
- Cumulative Graphs in Log Plots
Similar graphs in adjacent columns of a log plot may now be combined into a cumulative graph.
- Hole Sets
Convenient groupings of holes (hole sets) can be created to enable their specific selection for processing, display or printing.
- Improved Legends
Creating and maintaining legends is now much easier with the improved legend handling provided with Downhole Explorer 3.1. This also enables the creation and management of complex filter expressions using the in-build Expression Builder.
- Column Filtering
Column filtering now uses expressions, rather than legends, which is more intuitive.
- 3D Rendering
Downhole Explorer now supports 3D rendering using an alternative rendering method.
Note: Users wishing to make full use of the opacity/transparency functionality will need an OpenGL graphics card which supports opacity.
- Wireframe Hulling
Wireframe hulls can be displayed using the new 3D rendering capabilities of Downhole Explorer.
