Data Drivers
The following new data drivers are available:
- STL
- MapInfo
- Vector (OGR) ( 25 formats, including Arc/Info, Atlas BNA, PCI Geomatics etc.)
- Raster/Grid (GDAL) (over 80 formats, including Arc/Info, ESRI, Vertical Mapper etc.).
Charting
The following improvements have been made to the histogram, scatter plot and stereonet charting:
Histograms
- Show log lines on Log histograms
- Display a user defined X/Y data intercept
- Display lines delineating Mean, Geometric Mean, Log Mean and Quantile values
- Stacked histograms option.
Scatterplots
- Combinations of Log/Normal scales on X or Y axes
- Correlation coefficient calculation
- Polynomial regression calculation
- New log scatterplots
- New correlation line options (best fit, least squares, 45°).
Both Histograms & Scatterplots
- Extension of interactive filtering using data selection
- Additional global chart when using Key Fields
- Display of statistics on charts
- Additional percentiles added to statistics options
- Option to add comments to charts
- Custom tooltips (value, keyfield, X or Y).
Stereonets
The stereonet interface has been completely rewritten using the latest interface and standards; includes the following features:
- Generate stereonet plots using loaded or external data
- Display poles, planes, contours
- Define projection, net type, hemisphere, grid and color settings
- Select stereonet points and link to the point data in the Design or VR windows
- Define Sets, Planes and Cones.
