Gridded Surfaces

Gridded surfaces can be loaded directly into the Discover 3D window or added as part of a georeferenced drape from the 2D map. Surface handling includes support for a range of grid formats, such as ER Mapper, Geosoft, Surfer, Vertical Mapper and GeoTIFF.

Extensive control of the surface display is provided including:

• Color
• Histogram modification
• Sun-shading
• Transparency
• Scale and offset

Voxel Models

Discover 3D lets you display and manipulate voxel models with the following major features:

• Support for UBC and CEMI geophysical models
• Restricted support for Datamine, Surpac, Vulcan and GoCAD models
• Threshold, isosurface and sliced views
• Extensive color and transparency control
• Chair clipping
• ASCII import
• Model statistics report
• Scale and constant or DTM offset control
