Spot Range-Township-Section well locations and create land grid maps using commercial data or the RockWorks Landbase. |
| Import and/or interpolate land grid coordinates |
- Use the free RockWare "Landbase" collection of Jeffersonian Township and Range data for portions of the United States (from the US Bureau of Land Management Land Survey Information System and other sources).
- Import section coordinates from commercial data vendors:
- IHS (Petroleum Information/Dwights)
- Tobin (Graphics Information ASCII-31 Format)
- Whitestar (Platte River)
- Interpolate section corners based on a known reference point
