Standard Customization Framework

Users can easily personalize the user interface by docking toolbars or adding and removing buttons and menu items. Alternatively, ArcView includes Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for custom scripting capabilities. Finally, developers can use any standard development language, such as C++, .NET, or VB, to create custom tools, applications, and new functionality.

Application Framework

ArcView provides a standard Microsoft Windows application look and feel, allowing users to easily begin using the GIS applications. Visual Basic for Applications is included with ArcView and allows you to quickly and easily customize your interface and build powerful GIS tools.
