ArcGIS Publisher gives you the freedom to easily share and distribute your GIS maps and data with anyone.

Key Features of ArcGIS Publisher

ArcGIS Publisher has a number of key features including publishing, packaging and customizing ArcReader.

Publishing

The publishing process takes the map authored using ArcMap and creates a special file called a PMF. A PMF contains all the information required to display the map in ArcReader.

Packaging

The ArcReader packaging capability allows you to easily create a redistributable bundle of data and published maps.

Customizing ArcReader

The Publisher extension allows you to create custom ArcReader applications or embed ArcReader capabilities into existing applications.
