The term "RCL" stands for "RockWare Command Language." This language simply defines program settings or variables in order to (1) store/retrieve snapshots of current menus or (2) run the program from a script rather than interactively via the menus.

This paper focuses on the latter, since these scripting tools in RockWorks may qualify as some of the more hidden powerhouses of the program. We will address some simple scripting methods and guidelines, as well as some advanced strategies. And, the best part – it's easy.
