IMPORTANT: The functionality of this evaluation version will cease 30 days after install. MapInfo Professional is fully compatible with the following Operating Systems:
- Windows XP Professional 32-bit Service Pack 3 (SP3)
- Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 with 32-bit compatibility mode
- Windows 2008 Server 32-bit SP2
- Windows 2008 Server 32-bit SP2 with XenServer
- Windows 2008 Server R2 64-bit SP1
Download Instructions
1. Create temporary directories on your hard drive for each component you download, such as C:TEMPMIPro
2. Click on the MapInfo Professional v11.0 Trial (356 MB) download link which will cause the File Download dialog box to appear.
3. Choose the "Save" button and navigate to the directory created in Step 1 (i.e. c:tempMIPro).
4. Once the download completes, use Windows Explorer to navigate to the directory created in Step 1 (i.e. c:tempMIPro).
5. Double-click on the file called mipro-v11-eval.zip.
6. Extract the files to the temporary directory created in step 1.
7. Open the temporary directory and execute the file called setup.exe.
8. This program will start the install wizard that will lead you through the rest of the installation process. |
