Circular Data Statistics Software

Maintenance Release

Pitney Bowes Business Insight has announced the latest update to MapInfo Professional. This release is available for free to MapInfo Professional v11.0 users. You can obtain this update by opening MapInfo Professional 11.0, and selecting the "Check for Update…" option under the Help menu.

The upcoming release of Visual MODFLOW will take 3D groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling to a whole new level. With the added support for parallel processing, 64-bit versions of MODFLOW and SEAWAT, and an improved SAMG multigrid solver, model runtimes will be reduced drastically – especially when dealing with large grids and/or complex simulations.

Upgrades: Current users of Visual MODFLOW 2009.1 or 4.3 - if you upgrade to Visual MODFLOW 2010 before the new version is released, you'll get a free upgrade to 2011. And, all you 4.3 users... once 2011 is released you will no longer be eligible for an upgrade.

Use RockWorks to compute volumes and generate extraction surfaces for an existing block model and desired grade/concentration/etc. range.

The Volumetrics / Extract Solid tool, in the RockWorks Utilities, reads an input MOD file, and allows you to constrain the model based on a grade range, bench heights, maximum depth, perimeter (property boundary), and/or stripping ratio.

The program outputs a volume report, a 3D display of the filtered block model, and 2D and 3D display of the extraction surface.
