Tips
RockWorks15: Create Earthquake Maps in 2D & 3D
You can use several tools in RockWorks15 to visualize the location of seismic events worldwide. The Map | Sphereplot program can display longitude-latitude points in reference to the globe.

The Map | 3D Points can display the epicenter locations (X/Y/elevation). The KML | Points program creates a Google Earth display of the earthquake locations.

(Earthquake data from the GeoCommunity's SpatialNews Daily.)
Check out ESRI's Japan Earthquake & Tsunami update page for helpful information.
Everyone at RockWare sends their deepest condolences to the people of Japan and their families worldwide for the tragic losses they've suffered after the earthquake and tsunami on March 11th.
